Still to come: Sauti za Busara

Zanzibar will be a hot destination next month now that its annual music and performing arts festival — Sauti za Busara (“sounds of wisdom" in Swahili) — has made National Geographic’s list of best winter trips. Of course for the Spice Island, February is summer. Hoteliers expect to be fully booked Feb. 13-16, and airlines have reported strong advance bookings for the festival period. The festival also features film, fashion and a parade through Stone Town.
